Compatibility & chemistry
YDNRESIN recommends evaluation with compatible waterborne acrylics and polyester dispersions, with further screening in alkyd emulsions, polyurethane emulsions and epoxy waterborne systems. Actual compatibility should be confirmed in the customer’s specific formulation.

Control pH, catalyst level, solids, bath or blend stability, and cure conditions according to the complete formulation system.
For textile finishing and nonwoven applications, addition level and curing conditions should be optimized according to the binder system, substrate and required performance.
For microencapsulation applications, addition level and curing conditions should be optimized according to the shell-forming system, core material and required performance.
Suitable acid catalysts may be used where faster crosslinking or lower curing temperatures are required. Preliminary laboratory trials are recommended before commercial production.
